Radiance House is an independent publishing and training company devoted to useful ways of understanding people, developing human potential, and exploring the brain and mind. Our books and courses cross traditional boundaries: personality and neuroscience, leadership and systems thinking, Jungian psychology and body-mind practice, plus fiction and role-playing games through the separate Radiance House Games imprint.
The common thread is practical curiosity: taking complex ideas and turning them into books, tools, stories, courses, and experiences that people can actually use.

Dario Nardi, PhD
Author · Researcher · Educator · Founder and CEO of Radiance House
Dario Nardi is an author, researcher, educator, and longtime explorer of the places where personality, neuroscience, systems thinking, and imagination meet. His work has moved across several fields, but a recurring question ties them together: how can complex ideas about human nature be translated into practical tools that help people understand themselves, appreciate differences, and develop new capacities?
His academic background includes aerospace engineering, systems science, computing, East Asian languages and cultures, and social science. At UCLA he taught across programs including computing, anthropology, the Honors Collegium, and Human Complex Systems, with courses ranging from AI and web development to a group dynamics workshop and modeling and simulation of social systems. His teaching was recognized with UCLA's Copenhaver Award for Innovative Use of Technology (2006) and UCLA's Distinguished Teacher Award (2011). His systems perspective has been a natural bridge to his work in psychological type: Dario trained in type with Linda Berens in the 1990s and went on to write or co-write numerous practical guides to type, self-leadership, and cognitive processes.
Since the mid-2000s, Dario has also conducted hands-on EEG research, examining brain-activity patterns during tasks involving language, problem solving, meditation, music, social interaction, creativity, and more. This work informed Neuroscience of Personality and later Decode Your Personality. Over time his interests expanded deeper into Jung's original depth-psychology work, yoga, and shamanic practice, as well as returning to his early loves for fiction writing and tabletop role-playing games. He founded Radiance House in 2007 as a home for these varied but connected projects. Whether the result is a book, course, workshop, assessment, simulation, or game, his aim is much the same: make sophisticated ideas understandable, memorable, and useful.

Linda V. Berens, PhD
Psychological type pioneer · Author · Organizational development practitioner
Linda Berens has spent decades helping individuals, teams, and organizations understand human differences in ways that are practical, respectful, and useful. A psychologist and human-development practitioner, she became internationally known for integrating multiple lenses of psychological type and for translating theory into clear training models, books, and tools for coaches, facilitators, and organizations.
Linda founded the organization that became InterStrength and made major contributions to the practical development of temperament, Interaction Styles, whole-type descriptions, and integrated approaches to individual differences. Her work consistently emphasizes self-leadership, honoring innate strengths, recognizing the limits of habitual patterns, and learning to work effectively with people whose needs and styles differ from our own.
Linda was also Dario's principal early mentor in psychological type. He completed type qualification training under her instruction in 1994, and the two later collaborated on several widely used booklets, including The 16 Personality Types: Descriptions for Self-Discovery and Understanding Yourself and Others: An Introduction to the Personality Type Code. Their long association helped shape Radiance House's continuing emphasis on multiple models, learner-owned self-discovery, and type as a tool for understanding rather than stereotyping people.
